Phoenix Rising is a journey into the heart of trauma, showing how poetry can be a vehicle for healing. The poems within these pages offer a journey through trauma and healing, revealing what one person’s unique journey has looked like.

Writing is a powerful tool for healing, giving the author and reader a safe space to explore and process difficult emotions and experiences without judgment. Raw thoughts and feelings on paper create a safe distance from your trauma where self-evaluation and acceptance can blossom. This separation allows one to examine their past from a new perspective, making the overwhelming feel more manageable. This platform can help you to find a sense of control and empowerment, transforming pain into a foundation of strength and resilience. Phoenix Rising is a story of overcoming darkness to find true love and acceptance.
